Prestress Self-Equilibrium Force-Finding Method for Cable-Supported Grid Structures Considering Zero-Stress State Form-Finding and the Construction Process

The cable-supported grid structure (CSGS) is a hybrid combined with rigidity and flexibility. Its formed state closely related to the zero-stress state, construction process, prestress distribution. self-equilibrium force-finding method proposed in this paper continuously conduct form-finding, analysis. As first engineering project adapting CSGS an internal compression ring, Shanghai Pudong Football Stadium was taken as analysis object. structural finite element model established ANSYS, components were divided into ordinary form system, equivalent temperature difference applied prestress. Newton–Raphson used for geometric nonlinear results show that forces displacements of are consistent design which proves validity provides significant guidance actual construction. can effectively accurately obtain configuration, response during construction, distribution after forming single analysis, without analyzing above three separately, improves efficiency.
